This episode was tough and therapeutic for the worn out half of the Black Millennial Marriage podcast, and he hopes you can take something from it.

Wife and I started listening to you all maybe a month or 2 ago, and this particular episode hits home because we have a 7 month old. I’m constantly in the midnset of grinding and trying to figure out what I need to do to continue the success of our family and continue moving our family forward. It doesn’t all fall on the husband though nor should it. But I understand the frustration and that inate husband behavior of trying to bear the entire load. It’s a balance and you have to remember that, otherwise you’ll find yourself burnt out and not able to do anything mentally or physically. I’m learning as a husband and new father, I have to take breaks and I’m trying to work going back to the gym in my schedule. But it’s a process and that process is worth it in the end and is what keeps me motivated in the midst of the struggle. You guys continue to work together. We are from Atlanta (Bankhead, SWATs) but currently live in Baltimore. Peace & Love
